These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use
of the Invoistr mobile application, the website at
https://invoistr.com, the API at
https://api.invoistr.com, and related services
(collectively, the "Service") provided by Bobcode s.r.o.
("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, downloading the app, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility and Scope
You may use the Service only if:
- you have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
- you comply with these Terms and applicable law;
- you are not prohibited from using the Service under applicable sanctions, export controls, or similar restrictions; and
- you use the Service only for lawful business, personal, or administrative purposes.
If you use the Service on behalf of a company or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. What the Service Does
The Service is designed to help users:
- create accounts and sign in using email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Google Sign-In;
- reset account passwords and manage access to their accounts;
- scan invoices or receipts using a device camera;
- import invoice or receipt images from the device photo library;
- process one or more invoice images together in a batch workflow;
- run OCR and related extraction workflows to convert invoice images or document files into structured invoice data;
- use optional language-model-assisted extraction features available through Apple platform frameworks on supported devices and operating-system versions, where available;
- upload, store, retrieve, review, edit, search, filter, export, and delete invoice records and related invoice images or files through the Service;
- export invoice data to CSV, including only filtered invoices;
- export invoice data and related scan images to Google Drive, including CSV files that contain links to uploaded scan images;
- access trial or paid subscription features through Apple in-app purchases.
Features may vary by device, operating system, region, language, subscription plan, backend availability, or third-party platform availability. We may add, remove, suspend, or change features at any time.
References to planned, future, or upcoming features are informational only and are not binding commitments to deliver any specific feature, integration, or timeline.
3. Accounts, Authentication, and Sessions
You are responsible for:
- providing accurate and up-to-date account information;
- maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and device access;
- all activity that occurs under your account;
- using only authentication methods that you are authorized to use; and
- promptly notifying us at info@invoistr.com if you suspect unauthorized access or misuse.
You may not impersonate another person, create accounts through unauthorized means, or share access in a way that violates law or these Terms.
To support sign-in and session continuity, the app may store authentication and session data locally on your device, including in the iOS Keychain.
We may offer session-related features such as session refresh, session visibility, or logout controls. Those features may change over time and may not be available on every platform or app version.
4. User Content
"User Content" includes invoice images, OCR text, invoice records, exported files, and any other data or materials you upload, scan, generate, submit, or store through the Service.
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, transmit, display, and otherwise use your User Content as necessary to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and support the Service;
- secure and improve the Service;
- troubleshoot issues and respond to support requests; and
- comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect rights and safety.
You are solely responsible for:
- the legality, accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of your User Content;
- ensuring you have all rights and permissions needed to submit User Content to the Service;
- reviewing OCR and automated extraction results before relying on them; and
- deciding whether the Service is appropriate for your accounting, bookkeeping, tax, reimbursement, compliance, or recordkeeping needs.
5. OCR, AI, and Accuracy
The Service includes OCR and automated extraction features. These features may make mistakes, omit data, misclassify text, or produce incomplete or inaccurate outputs.
You must independently review and confirm invoice details before using them for bookkeeping, reimbursement, tax filings, audits, legal claims, vendor disputes, or other important purposes.
The same review obligation applies to batch-processing results, filtered exports, Google Drive exports, and any generated scan links or CSV output.
The Service is a workflow and data-management tool. It is not legal, tax, accounting, audit, or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional review.
6. Device Storage, Server Storage, and Deletion
To provide the Service, we may store invoice images or document files, OCR text, invoice records, and related account data on backend systems operated by us or our service providers.
The app may also store certain data locally on your device, including cached files, temporary export files, authentication or session data needed to keep you signed in, and other local app data used for viewing or app continuity.
If you use the photo-library import feature or export files to Google Drive, copies of content may also remain in those third-party environments until you remove them there.
You understand and agree that:
- deleting an invoice or account may not immediately remove every cached, backup, or temporary copy;
- local files already written to your device may remain until removed by you, the app, the operating system, or deletion of the app and its local data; and
- access to server-stored content depends on Service availability, backend availability, and third-party infrastructure availability.
If you need complete local deletion, you may need to clear app data or delete the app from the device.
7. Subscription Plans, Billing, Renewals, and Trials
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription or may be subject to trial or plan-based usage limits.
If you purchase a subscription through the iOS app:
- billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID account;
- subscription offerings may include monthly and yearly plans;
- auto-renewable subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with Apple's rules;
- you can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple App Store account settings;
- refund requests, billing disputes, and certain purchase issues are handled by Apple under Apple's policies and applicable law; and
- Apple may provide notices for certain subscription price changes before they take effect.
The Service may also include trial periods, trial usage limits, monthly usage limits, or similar plan controls. These may vary by plan, promotion, platform, region, or time period. If you reach a usage limit or a trial expires, some features may be limited or unavailable until your allowance resets or you upgrade.
We may change plan features, usage limits, eligibility rules, or pricing in the future to the extent permitted by applicable law and platform rules.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data.
If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Privacy Policy regarding contractual rights and obligations, these Terms control. If there is a conflict regarding data-protection disclosures, the Privacy Policy controls.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of law or third-party rights;
- upload or process unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive content;
- upload malware or interfere with the security, integrity, performance, or availability of the Service;
- attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
- scrape, probe, reverse engineer, or benchmark the Service except where such restrictions are prohibited by law;
- circumvent usage limits, subscription controls, or trial restrictions;
- use the Service to overload, disrupt, or degrade our systems or third-party infrastructure; or
- use the Service in a way that could create legal, regulatory, or security risk for us or others.
10. Account Deletion, Suspension, and Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also request account deletion or use the in-app deletion flow where available.
If you delete your account:
- we will delete or de-identify account data, invoice records, and stored invoice images or files that we are not legally required to retain, subject to our retention obligations and technical limitations;
- some records may be retained where necessary for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes; and
- local files already stored on your device may remain unless separately removed.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if:
- you breach these Terms;
- your use creates legal, security, fraud, abuse, or operational risk;
- we are required to do so by law or platform rules; or
- we discontinue all or part of the Service.
Termination does not limit any rights or remedies that arose before termination.
11. Third-Party Services and Platforms
The Service may depend on or interoperate with third-party services and platforms, including Apple, Google, PostHog, Sentry, and other hosting or infrastructure providers we use to operate the Service.
We are not responsible for third-party services, products, platforms, policies, outages, or acts or omissions. Your use of those third-party services may also be governed by their own terms and privacy notices.
Without limitation:
- Apple controls App Store billing, subscription management, and certain refund flows;
- Apple and Google control their sign-in services; and
- analytics and crash reporting providers operate their own infrastructure and processing environments.
- hosting, storage, and other infrastructure providers operate the systems that may affect access to server-stored content.
- Google Drive availability, permissions, storage, and deletion are controlled by Google if you choose that export option.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, branding, user interface, text, graphics, workflows, databases, and underlying technology, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you by implication, estoppel, or otherwise.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, or create derivative works from the Service except as expressly permitted by law or by us in writing.
13. Availability, Changes, and Support
We try to keep the Service available, secure, and functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free operation.
The Service, including access to server-stored invoice content, may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, bugs, security events, internet or hosting failures, third-party outages, or platform changes.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, including features, integrations, limits, eligibility, or availability, subject to applicable law.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived under mandatory consumer law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bobcode s.r.o. and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, licensors, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, business opportunity, or business interruption arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the total amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- EUR 100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bobcode s.r.o. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
- your User Content;
- your misuse of the Service;
- your violation of these Terms; or
- your violation of law or third-party rights.
This section does not apply to consumers where prohibited by mandatory law.
17. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections under the laws of the country where you live.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bratislava, Slovakia, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or access to complaint, consumer-protection, or alternative dispute resolution mechanisms that apply under applicable law.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on our website or otherwise notify you as required by law.
Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, stop using the Service.
